Sam enjoys sitting by her window and watching. the birds stop by and eat at her bird-feeder. It brings her extra joy when cedar waxwings come, because they are her favorite and come less often.

She enjoys making clothes in her free time, with a special fondness for styles of the 60s and 70s.
